Hi everyone!

All is well with the syncing again. In case this helps someone else here is what I did.

1. Updated WordPress to latest version
2. Updated all Woocommerce plugins and Woocommerce extention plugins
3. Increased PHP memory to 1024M and Timeout to 600

To do number 3, add the following 2 lines to the .access file in the root directory of your website if you have access

php_value memory_limit 1024M
php_value max_execution_time 600

4. Go to Marketing -> Facebook – > Product Sync -> Sync Products.

Allow it to do it’s thing and tahdah! (Well hopefully to whoever is reading this).

Hi dgttm, nope, Have the same problem with another website on the same server, but this one has a really small shop (93 products in total) – mostly simple products (all synced fine) but the variable products are just not syncing there are just a few. Memory 1000mb and even increased the timeout from 30 seconds to 300 still not working….

Hi, increased php memory to 1024 with no luck. Simple products sync. Variable products do not. Tried to resync and all steps above. Any other suggestions? thank you!

Hello again it is I!

I just want to thank you Amanda.
I managed to change the websites’s memory allocation to 512 Megabytes and hit re sync in the plugin settings and that did the trick. hopefully this will help others too!

There are a couple of ways to change the memory limit. In my case I have access to the website root folder. In the Public_html folder there is a hidden file called .htaccess

backup just in case (download it) then edit the (.htaccess) file by adding: php_value memory_limit 256M

And bang, it worked! Thanks very much I have been struggling for weeks on and off.

Thank you for this. I am going to check about upping the limit and follow instructions to delete the catalogue and re-sync from scratch. Will update here hopefully in the next 48 hours. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply B C!

Okay:

1. Each variation is set to “sync and show in catalogue” in each of the variant’s Facbook sync drop down. The main box is also ticket at Marketing -> Facebook -> Product sync.

2. Products are marked as in stock

3. Yes all variable products. On the right hand side pan, within the product screen, where you have the Variant ID’s they are blank with no values. There is a main Facebook ID only.

I have re-synced all products and tried to “Reset Facebook meta data” with no luck.

Any other ideas?

You really are a genius! thanks. In this particular use case the client is simply using the export url to quickly view an activities bookings for the day on their mobile phone with least hassle, so they arent opening in another program but viewing the CSV straight in their phone browser – > your explanation makes perfect sense.

Last last question promise. On the front end when viewing the calendar in “Week view” the date displays as “Wed 12/11” – this means of course 11th of December but is American format.

I would just like to swap the month and day around so that the 11th of Dec is displayed as “Wed 11/12” instead of “Wed 12/11” – I have tried to change this in the plugin settings as well as wordpress settings but not managed to get it right. Are you able to assist?

The client would basically like the date to be exported to show the name of the DAY of the week. I don’t think that is possible? At least I think the date format can refer to the name of the MONTH such as “30-June 2008” but nit the DAY. Do you agree?
