The automation for description always gives me red! I have gone in to fix so it’s all green or yellow. Makes me feel good π

In reply to: [The SEO Framework β Fast, Automated, Effortless.] Description in postsI found the article about 300-700 words here: https://yoast.com/seo-friendly-blog-post/ (I know it’s your competitor! :P)
Oh DEAR. I only JUST realized that I was referring to the article/post content when I asked about “description” earlier. I was under the (wrong) impression description meant my article. I only now see it under SEO, please forgive me.
Does it mean I can just try to write a nice SEO description, and it does not matter as much if my gallery has text next to it or not?
Thank you, Pippin!

In reply to: [Shortcodes Ultimate - Content Elements] Links in spoiler accordionThe problem was magically solved without messing on my part.
Another issue I have is pagination. I use this code:
[downloads category=”10″ order=”DESC” orderby=”post_date” number=”3″ columns=”3″ pagination=”false”]
Pagination still appears, and the number of posts is >3.
I removed pagination attribute and it still appears. Is it a bug?
Knew this couldn’t be true! Was looking for some reassurance, and you’ve provided that. Many thanks!
Wow ok thanks. Sounds like my idea was wrong. I thought I could just host my site with them and look to Amazon S3 for storage of my files that EDD will use.
I see!! I misunderstood your first reply to me – I thought that to use the S3 extension with EDD, I would have to make my files public! Thus my confusion. Thanks for clearing that up.
I’m with http://www.hostwithlove.com/shared-hosting.php on a S1 plan. I read up more on S3 and I think that’s the way to go. If you’ve got a minute to take a look at that page, would you agree?
I’m sorry I still don’t get it. If I have a file I want people to pay for, and I store it on S3, and use the EDD extension to pull it into my Download product, I have to make my file public. So if this file is publicly accessible to anyone, what’s stopping them from downloading it without paying me?
Also, I am using more space than I imagined, so I am considering between S3 or upgrading the space on my hosting account. Do you know which is preferable? Thanks!
ok I understand about the extension.
If the S3 files are made public, does that mean my files are publicly accessible (outside of my website, through other means)?

Thanks Pippin!
