We’ve checked and tested and we haven’t found any validation issues in our plugin. We’re not sure why you’re seeing them. There are various other reasons for the issues arise in the Search Console, it could be due to your server.
After running the validator on your site, which is currently using AMP for WordPress, we are still seeing validation issues. Please see this screenshot:

To add category in sidebar menu, please follow the following steps.
Step 1
From the Appearance menu on the left-hand side of the WordPress Dashboard, select the Menus option to bring up the Menu Editor.

Under Menu Items, click the pane entitled Categories.

Within this pane Categories, Select your desired categories that you want to add by clicking the checkbox next to each Category’s title and click the Add to Menu button located at the bottom of this pane to add your selection(s) to the AMP Sidebar menu.

Under Menu Settings, Select AMP Sidebar Menu and Click Save Menu button once you’ve added all the menu items you want.

This was due to caching on the server.

Thanks for sharing this information. A couple of things:
- Our plugin requires PHP version to be at least 5.6.
- We have still tried to install the (free) plugins and theme you mentioned and still couldn’t recreate the issue.
- We don’t have access to some premium plugins you’re using so couldn’t test those.
- Again, as asked before, the easiest way we can fix this is if we had access to your WordPress site. Would appreciate if you could share the credentials. We’re trying our best to resolve this for you and would appreciate if you could kindly help us here.
- Our plugin codebase is different than Better AMP so not sure why you’re referring to it. It wouldn’t help us resolve this issue.

We’ve investigated it further on our end and this seems to be working fine. Layouts are not breaking.
Could you guys kindly share your WordPress credentials (email to [email protected]) or share the following information so we can see what’s causing it:
- Theme name & version you’re using
- List of plugins (with versions) you’re using
- PHP version of your server
We’re assuming some theme/plugin might be causing some conflict with the AMP theme.
Any further information would be highly appreciated.

.. Developers are welcome and encouraged to include links to their own sites or social networks, as well as locally (within the plugin) including images to enhance that experience.
