I just posted about this same problem, same error message when trying to find new themes.
Everything was working fine until this morning.
I’m having exactly the same problem. I’m a total novice to all this, just got might site up, hosting through hostgator. I was playing around with different themes over the last few days and suddenly today I get this message
“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with ww.wp.xz.cn or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”
I tried un-install and re-install of wordpress, but still have the same problem.
Anyone got a fix for this?
