In truth we’re finding it hard to keep up to date with all the BP updates and maintain this plugin – and we’ve got a very busy summer ahead.. but we’ll try to get an update out at some point.

In reply to: [Export User Data] All BP xProfile Fields are blankProblem is two fold – I’m half way done with an update to include some new feature requests.. and I’ve hardly got time to finish it.. so, I might need to hide this updates and just release a small patch which seems to work with bp 2.0 and prior – but it would be nice to test this first via git, if anyone is willing to participate?

While I can’t duplicate your exact set-up, I’ve tried to create a new role and give this role the required capabilities – in my test, the user in the new role was able to successfully export as a .csv.
I can’t think of nor see a reason why the export should fail – so it time to try the classic fix – turn off all other plugins, move to the default theme and turn on some error logging in the wp-config.php in order to try to locate the problem.

Thanks for the extra info – the capability that is required to export is “list_users” – try adding that and see if it helps.

In reply to: [Export User Data] Store Manager@bububang – Store manager is not a standard WP role – this has been introduced by another plugin.
You could try installed a role scoping plugin – like User Role Editor – or you will simply need to login as an admin.
User data is potentially private information, so it’s probably advisable to restrict which roles can access this.
