Found the problem and updated API. Through the current documentation by https://mattplugins.com/docs/configure-cloudflare-caching it is unclear. Also, Cloudflare change UI of their dashboard and documentation is partially outdated.
Hi, sorry for the late reply. When I have sent this screenshot I did refresh the page but there was like no information available – don’t know why.
Also now I cannot find this JPG image anymore on the page. Now by scan through the inspector I can see only AVIF images, which is good, but very strange. It seems to me like a bug, but we still didn’t figure it out.
Hi, hmm I don’t know but at this page I can see now again problems with image display. It happens at some point – much more often, I can see it on this page:
Here are the results from the the request – it says “No payload for this request”. https://q-rest.nl/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Screenshot-2025-07-01-at-16.43.45-scaled.png
Hmm, I don’t exactly what I need to do on your request. Do you have an example? I can also see on the Google reports that we definitely have some problems with performance drops. It has identified that our page’s became too heavy.

We also experience speed / optimization drop in Google Search Console. I can see from there that our website became heavier and slower on the load.
Hi, I disagree with it. I don’t see any changes. Images are still being loaded as JPG on the page. The same problem btw is also with features images on the website. Please see the screenshot after removing all caching on CDN and website side. It is still JPG..

Even by right-click on the image – it offers to save it as JPG. It seems like plugin is just ignoring some part of the images’ optimization or does not apply them on the page.
Any reply on our issue please?
Hi Mateusz, thanks for the fast reply! You have a nice guide to check the work of the plugin. Everything was clear. Unfortunately, in my check I have found some images that were displayed not in the right format. It was still a JPG file. I could not find the way how I can fix it. I believe, everything should be applied automatically by the plugin.
Here is the screenshot example from the page: https://q-rest.nl/spa-producten-wellness/

And also a huge problem on this page: https://q-rest.nl/hottub-sauna-direct-leverbaar/ I don’t know why it is still displaying JPG format. All images on the website were converted at 100%.

Hi @nerrad , thanks for the update. Unfortunately, I’m unable to check if it works because of another issue on their website with login. Now it is impossible to log in with Google or even just normally through the email – the login link that the website is sending is not valid.
