In reply to: [Comet Cache] Simple, clean, effectiveThis plugin is light, fast, and unobtrusive. It doesn’t generate server errors, it doesn’t slow the site down to the speed of a bored sloth
@mugwumpr “The speed of a bored sloth”—LOL. 🙂 I’m glad that’s not Comet Cache. A lot of time and effort goes into making sure that Comet Cache works well with other plugins and doesn’t turn into a “bored sloth” over time, so I’m so happy to hear it’s working so well for you.
Thanks so much for the five-star review!

In reply to: [Comet Cache] sooo goodi think comet cache is a game changer.
@bloup Thank you very much for the review. One of the main things I strive to do with Comet Cache is make it as compatible with other plugins as possible. That’s not always easy, as the WordPress ecosystem is quite diverse!
I’m so happy to hear that you’re enjoying the plugin.

In reply to: [Comet Cache] That is the must have plugin (so handsome new name!)This is the best choice in cache plugins jungle. Simplicity, accuracy and performance are the appropriate terms to qualify this plugin.
@lomars Thank you very much for the review! 🙂
To be perfect, a clear cache on admin top bar is missing !
Thank you for the feature request. 🙂 I’ll see what we can do about getting that into the Lite version.

In reply to: [Comet Cache] cache taking alot of space@shaybib That’s not possible at this time, no, however I’ve opened a GitHub issue here so that we can explore ways to decrease the size of the cache on disk; I suggest subscribing to this issue so that you receive updates: https://github.com/websharks/comet-cache/issues/759

In reply to: [Comet Cache] No change but cache regenerates way before expiration@emellina It sounds like something on your site (possibly another plugin, or possibly some action you take on the Dashboard) is triggering one of the automatic clear/wipe routines (see What are the Clear Cache and Wipe Cache Routines?). There are a lot of things that could cause Comet Cache to clear the entire cache: Updating a plugin, changing the theme, changing a WordPress setting.
In Comet Cache Pro, it’s possible to disable these automatic wipe/clear routines (see Disabling Automatic Clear / Wipe Cache Routines) but the easiest thing to do is to avoid any event that might trigger the automatic clear/wipe routines.
If you’re not doing anything on the WordPress Dashboard that might trigger these routines, I suggest Testing Comet Cache in a Clean WordPress Installation to rule out any other plugins that might be causing this problem.

In reply to: [Comet Cache] Multilanguage: Cache is mixing up languages@buckdanny You’ll need to use a Dynamic Version Salt to create two separate versions of the cache. Please see this article: Introduction to Dynamic Version Salts

In reply to: [Independent Publisher] Switch to single column layout@alliedecastro Are you using the self-hosted ww.wp.xz.cn version of the theme, or the theme from WordPress.com? The .com version is not the same as the .org version and I just confirmed that the .org version still shows Layout options in the Customizer.
