    Hi @darkmatter661 and @donorbrain,

To fix my missing images problem with Mio WooCommerce I basically removed these lines that were added by the Bulletproof Security plugin from the .htaccess file and the images are all now showing again :

    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} [a-zA-Z0-9_]=http:// [NC,OR]
    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} http\: [NC,OR]

    Heres the site http://xlogic-relay.co.uk

    Who’d a thunk it!
    Cheers

    Hi @donorbrain,

Thanks for the info, I’ve just disabled the .htaccess file and hey presto it worked! All the images on the homepage show up again. I’ll work out which line is causing the problem and will post it here.

    Thanks for the top tip!
    Cheers

    Hi @wpranger,

Thanks for the update! I was only trying to help someone out but had to give up in the end, I just couldn’t get the images to show with Mio theme. I can’t believe how long I spent trying different things.

WordPress is fantastic for most sites but not ecommerce, in my limited experience with WooCommerce anyway. I would normally choose OpenCart or Magento given the choice.

    Cheers anyway mate!

    Hi Esmi,

I just realised its not a WP theme, its Mio for Woocommerce!

I volunteered to take a look at the problem for a client I did a different normal WordPress site for and after about 4 hours of searching and trying different things I got nowhere. The images just don’t show unless the theme is changed.

    Thanks anyway

Did anyone figure this out yet?

We have the same Timthumb problem!

I see the images on : http://www.pwfloorsinc.com are working @darkmatter661 ! How did you fix this?

    (@rabbitwordpress)

I forgot to mention change hosts when your 123 Reg package comes up for renewal!

You could go to http://www.cuckoofilms.co.uk and “view source” code for each page, copy and save the content part of each page into a text file on your PC/Mac as it looks like you only have 4 or 5 pages anyway.

Backup your wp-content folder which includes your theme.

Then clear everything including your database in the 123 Reg admin panel, create a new database and then fresh WordPress installation.

Check to see if everything works ok, if it does put your theme and plugins back 1 by 1 starting with your theme.

Something must be missing in your WordPress files then and your database hasn’t fully updated.

First try this : Replace WordPress files
1 – Get the latest WordPress zip (or tar.gz) file.
2 – Unpack the zip file that you downloaded.
    3 – Deactivate plugins.
4 – Delete the old wp-includes and wp-admin directories on your web host (through your FTP or shell access).
5 – Using FTP or your shell access, upload the new wp-includes and wp-admin directories to your web host, in place of the previously deleted directories.
6 – Upload the individual files from the new wp-content folder to your existing wp-content folder, overwriting existing files. Do NOT delete your existing wp-content folder. Do NOT delete any files or folders in your existing wp-content directory (except for the one being overwritten by new files).
7 – Upload all new loose files from the root directory of the new version to your existing wordpress root directory.

    (Source http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Upgrading_WordPress )

Failing that you might want to try manually changing the database version (db_version) in phpMyAdmin to 25824 which you’ll find in the wp_options table second page.

This is not recommended or best practice however and should only be done as a temporary measure.

If your site works again then back everything up to save all your pages posts and start again.

Hi Cuckoofilms, reinstalling your site is unlikely to fix the problem unless you start from scratch which will obvious cause you to loose everything.

You might first want to try turning off all your plugins by renaming your /wp-content/plugins to /wp-content/plugins.hold

    Source : http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/FAQ_Troubleshooting

Then try again, if that works then you know its an issue with one of your plugins.

I can see your on a 123 Reg server, I have a few sites with them too and apart from being slow they’re usually quite reliable so its unlikely to be a problem with your WordPress system files as such.

Hi Cuckoofilms, sorry to hear you had no success! I just checked the link and yes I can see you still have the message.

After clicking “Update” your site site seems to be ok. I can see your site front http://www.cuckoofilms.co.uk/blog/ and login page page yoursite (slash) blog (slash) wp-login.php

Are you saying that when you try to login you get the message back?

    Warren

    (@rabbitwordpress)

    Hi Cuckoofilms,
This has moved since version 3.0 to :
    wp-includes/default-constants.php
    line 23:
    define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’40M’);

temporarily change to 40M to 128M

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Kadence,

That’s no worries and just wanted to say you’ve done a fantastic job on Virtue.

The menu style I think would be good is something like http://www.starbucks.com/ or even http://jessicahische.is/ or similar but I appreciate how much work goes into these menus and perfecting responsive themes, a nice menu is just like the icing on the cake.

I’ve clicked five stars anyway which is more fair so keep up the great work mate.

    Cheers

Hi there, thanks for your quick reply!
I’m experimenting on MAMP before I upload it to the live site so do you think this has anything to do with my problem?
The more I play around with the theme the more features I discover, it really is a proper decent template!
    Thanks

I’m sorry I’ve moved on to a different slider now so can’t show a demo of yours.
If I recall I used the shortcode and just got an empty block after adding the slides. I was using MAMP before I uploaded to the real server so not sure if that was the problem?
I’ll have another attempt on the next site I do and will give you more details/feedback etc.
Thanks very much for getting back to me 🙂

    Hi Matthew,
Yes you’re probably right and I apologise for the low score, I was having a bad day!
Thanks very much for your reply and keep up the great work.
