  • I’ve been puzzling over this for a long time, every so often trying a new idea. I must be brain damaged, though, because it never occurred to me, until just now, to selectively deactivate my plug-ins.

After deactivating Backupify for WordPress (backupify.com), the problem was fixed. I tried several other deactivations and so far I’ve only found that one plug-in to be a problem. However, in the future, I will try selective deactivation (up to total deactivation) of plug-ins before I throw in the towel and manually upgrade.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for working with me directly, Pete! I appreciate this plugin more than ever, now.

Additionally, I just now reverted to the default WP theme and tried it, and had no success.

Apologies for the lack of detail.

I am running WP 2.7 and WP Sentry 0.6.9.

Feed Key is enabled on the General Options tab.

Some of the private posts have been marked for viewing only by my username. One has been marked for viewing by registered users. I have defined no special groups.

I am still testing the plugin, so I am the only user affected at this time. I am the owner and administrator of the blog.

I have tried resetting my personal Feed Key and subscribing to the new feed.

    My currently activated plugins are:

Add to Any: Subscribe Button .9.6.2
All in One SEO Pack 1.4.7
    DMSGuestbook 1.13.0
    WP Easy Uploader 1.0.8

And these, which do not appear on the 2.7 compatibility page:
    Facebook Connector 1.0
    Feed Statistics 1.3.2
    Google Analytics for WordPress 2.7
    Login LockDown v1.2
    Multiple Blogroll 0.1
    Wordpress Automatic Upgrade 1.2.2

All are up to date, and I have tried deactivating all, leaving only Sentry in place.
