You assume right, you will need to update the privacy policy of your site. As for us adding this information in the plugin page of our website, we will. Yours is the first complaint we have on Channels exceeding IP Quota.
I guess if you get creative with the plugin, you can find ways of adding the privacy policy, but no, we do not have a specific section, as we do for instance with the contact for. Perhaps it will be faster if you implement a manual post.
