Thank you Michael for your help and letting me know about the open issue. I will continue to monitor for a future update to fix plugin. I am glad I brought it to communities attention.
Hi Michael, yes I am using the import & export function as outlined in the link you posted.

Now All in One SEO has an import feature as well, but I am not sure if this is causing conflict.

The issue is upon deactivation of All in One SEO plugin (after cleanup), all titles and metas that were imported from AIO, disappear and revert to standard WordPress titles.
I need help troubleshooting, why Yoast can not retain the imported data.
