No, the contents of my template import and work fine (but I don’t have any [field image-url] statements in my template contents).
This new problem is with a simple [loop][field image-url][/loop] construct. No url is returned.
I’ll mark this thread as resolved (thanks again!) and open a new one.

Raoulps. In terms of efficiency (DB overhead etc.) I should probably use [load] instead, right?

No, I get the same errors as 2.5.8:
1. The template’s header is shown in place of custom post header.
2. The custom post repeater field displays fine.
3. The custom post featured image is not displayed.Happy hunting (it must be getting pretty gnarly under the hood)!

Took the plug-in back to 2.5.7 and that works fine.
Got a weird collection of errors with 2.6.0 through 2.5.8. For eg. with 2.5.8 the repeater fields in the techniques displayed fine, but there were issues with the title and featured image. The title was carried over from the template and the featured image didn’t display either (so potentially [field image] was operating on the template, which doesn’t have a featured image, and not the technique).
