I believe it would be enough to just receive an email that says “receipt” and lists the amount that was donated.
Does that make sense?

Although that sounds like a nice gesture, we need it for other reasons. Namely, we want the donations to be tax-deductible. For that, the donors need a receipt of their donation so that they can show/ proof that they donated.

I think being able to send automatic tax receipts to the donors will add a nice feature to the plugin experience.
