Hi @adampaine,
We’ve just released a new version with a fix for this issue. Please update.
That’s very helpful investigation! Thank you very much for that. We’ll check this closer and will fix it soon.
Thank you for your investigation. We have a similar feature to monitor 404 logs, but during migration, we don’t migrate those logs from other plugin, and of course don’t migrate them as redirects.
Do you have a backup of your site or a staging site that we can take a closer look?
Hi @adampaine
Thank for your feedback. Slim SEO can’t generate redirects from nothing, nor generate spammy redirects. Our source code is open on .org and Github, and anyone can verify this.
I think there must be a source from SEOPress that Slim SEO gets from. Did you have any disabled or inactive redirects or similar in SEOPress? Do you keep a backup of the site so we can take a look?

In reply to: [Slim SEO - A Fast & Automated SEO Plugin For WordPress] noindex .pdf filesHi @olistic ,
Pdf files are static files which are not HTML files, so they don’t have robots tag. So in this case there are no ways to add noindex robots tag for them.

In reply to: [Slim SEO - A Fast & Automated SEO Plugin For WordPress] Forget itHi @michepao ,
Thank you for your feedback!
We’re sorry to hear you had trouble with sitemaps. However, we’d like to clarify one important point: when a plugin is deactivated, WordPress completely disables it – no code runs, no redirects are created, and no sitemap is generated. So if the issue persists while Slim SEO is inactive, the root cause is elsewhere.
A few things worth checking:
- Another SEO plugin (Yoast, RankMath, etc.) may be generating its own sitemap and causing a conflict.
- Your theme or another plugin might have sitemap or redirect logic built in.
- Server-level redirects (in .htaccess or Nginx config) could be responsible.
We’d love to help you get to the bottom of this. Feel free to open a support thread and we’ll investigate together.
Thanks again for giving Slim SEO a try!
Hi @maxwww ,
Have you cleared cache after doing that (website & browser)?

In reply to: [Meta Box] Critical Error and Image Carousel Conflict (v5.12.0)Hi, I tried your field group, and tested it with Elementor, but didn’t see the error. Here is my screen recording:

Can you please record a similar video showing how do you set up?
This is a local site that uses Divi 5, and it works:

Can you please record a similar video? Please make sure you applied the patch first.
Hi @mattshawuk ,
We fixed this bug and will release a new version with that soon. If you want to apply the patch to your site, you can copy this file and place it in
src/Integrations/Divi.php, replacing the existing file.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Meta Box] Critical Error and Image Carousel Conflict (v5.12.0)It’s weird that the error message doesn’t contain anything related to Meta Box.
Do you connect custom fields from Meta Box to Elementor? Can you please export the JSON of the field group and send me here?

In reply to: [Meta Box] Critical Error and Image Carousel Conflict (v5.12.0)Hi,
Can you please share how do you use Meta Box on your site, and how do you setup the image carousel, which causes the bug?
Can you please enable the debug mode and share the full error message?
Hi,
We’re working on the integration with Divi 5. Its API changes a lot from v4 to v5 with lots of (technically) blocks. We need to make sure they’re rendered properly without breaking on the frontend.
We’ll release a new version with a fix for this as soon as possible.
Does it show the URL that has the compatibility issue?
Can you please share your AMP setup (maybe a screenshot)?
Which AMP plugin are you using? Currently, we support only the official AMP plugin . And I’ve just tested it Slim SEO with AMP and I don’t see any errors.
