Thanks Bryle, nothing to worry about right? I’m guessing if I want to be very neat and clean I can delete the upgrade directory myself.
Thanks Bryle.
Out of curiosity what would happen if the caching plugin was automatically activated after restore to the new host?
Also here nothing is mentioned about turning off caching. How is moving from one host to another with the same domain any different from a regular backup/restore?
And lastly you say before running the restore you need to deactivate the caching plugins; if you are moving to a new host the WordPress install will be empty so you cannot do this. Am I missing something?
Thanks again!
JoshForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Rounded Corners and Border for TableI actually figured it out. The problem was the border-collapse property. I had it set to collapse and changing it to unset fixed the problem.
I started a ticket with Migrate Guru and they skipped the offending table. Also the table looks to be related to MiniOrange 2FA WordPress plugin and it works without the table so far.
…the full error message…
Error while creating the table wpb7_wpns_malware_hash_file. The key was too long, MAX key length is 767 bytes.
Don’t be afraid to get technical I’ve got a background in comp sciAlso should I purge the wordpress setup on the destination host since it failed part way through? Or should I just do another migrate?

I am getting the same error message. How does one remedy it? I am moving from Siteground to Hostgator. Thanks!
One more question – I’ve been looking for a solution that would notify me if my website’s pages or other content has changed, in case I get hacked and malicious content is put on the website in which case I need to be notified. Does Sucuri monitor such changes?
