To use this plugin you need to work with file extensions FLV or SWF. Both are what is known as Flash. First created by Macromedia last century, now the home of Adobe and now known as, Adobe Flash Format.
MP4 is also another format, but if you are having issues with this format, a nice work around is to use MP4 encoding such as H.264. First render your video or slides to .MOV file extension using Apple’s Quicktime Application. Then import into a product such as Sony Vegas 8.0 or Tech Smith’s Camtasia 6.0.
Select Adobe Flash as your formatted file with FLV. In Camtasia, there are options for selecting MP4 encoding now within Adobe Flash, so you can render HD.
Tech Smith offers a 30 day trial for Camtasia 6.0 with dozens of training videos to get you started.
