Just a quick update…I’m still working on the bugs, rebuilding the menu system, and also bring a few other things up-to-date, including tweaks to the slider. Turns out I need tomorrow to finish it all up and to make sure everything is working 100%.

I will also check other things too and make sure this theme is 100% in the latest WordPress version.
If all goes well tomorrow, the update should be ready within 24 hours.

I’m not sure if you came across the tutorials for this theme setup, but try this:

As for “Do I need to purchase the Pro version?”, nope, you can keep using the Lite version as long as you want. The option to purchase is only if you want the added features.

In reply to: Updating to 5.5.1 – zip could not be verifiedActually, even though that message came up, it was still continuing with the update. The site is updated to 5.5.1 and so far, things are working. I did make a full site back-up before updating WP and plugins…which I always make it a habit before updating anything, even when I changed my PHP from 7.2 to 7.4.

It looks like you are using the default blog layout which has a right sidebar (the empty space that is there). You would need to change the blog layout to the Large Full-Width option under the customizer >> Theme Options >> Blog Settings, then look for the blog layout.Hopefully, that is what you are referring to and wanting?

Hi Denise,
For the button, first thing that you need to do is on the link for the button on your menu, make sure the “class” field is showing there and then type in:
splash-buttonThen, for an override of colour of the button, go to the customizer >> Colours >> Splash Page Button colour setting and change it to the colour you want.

For the intro to have a button instead of the ellipsis, this theme is not coded for that. However, if you change the setting to not use excerpts, then you can eliminate that and have a Continue Reading link (although it’s not a button) show. You can find this setting in the customizer > Theme Options > Blog Settings

I’ve uploaded the fix. In the styles, I had a period instead of a comma. Update the theme and try out the title colour and see if it works now?

It’s 1:30 am for me, but I made this issue a priority once I start my day tomorrow (today) and will upload the fix. Once I upload it, you should get a notification in your admin area of the update.
