@langerent thanks for letting me know. I thought this was only causing problems when debug was on and only in the admin panel.

It’s not possible to add in fields like that in an automated fashion.
I figured out what is causing the problem here. I was checking your login form, not the registration form which is why it was working for me when I was checking yesterday.
The issue is with your registration form.
It should be including the
signup_hidden_fieldshook, but doesn’t seem to have included that. Without it, it’s missing the Spam Destroyer’s hidden input field for the registration form. Any other plugins which utilise that hook will fail with your site too.How can I go about replicating this problem?
What can I do to make a copy of that form you have there?
I’m surprised this error is happening, since the Spam Destroyer plugin shouldn’t interfere with other forms like that.

I should actually have a good look through this plugin at some point. It’s been working fine for me for years, so I haven’t needed to make any changes, but I should really go through and check for problems some day, so thanks for inadvertently prompting me to do that. I’m going to stick it in my calendar to remind me to take a look at it some day 🙂

In reply to: [Spam Destroyer] Configuration OptionsAdding a settings page sorta goes against the point of the plugin. It’s intended as a drop-in solution with no settings or configuration required. Having said that, it should be possible to add those features via extension plugins, and if it’s not possible already, then I’m happy to add extra hooks, filters etc. as required.

Just keep your current version in place, and it’ll automatically add the fix in the next update 🙂

I’m not sure about that particular theme, but you can test if it is the theme by switching to one of the default themes. If it works with the default theme, and not with yours, then it is probably caused by the theme not using the usual WordPress header image system.
