In reply to: [Shortcodes Ultimate - Content Elements] Error generated by release 7.5.1Thank you for the quick response and for addressing the issue so fast. I really appreciate how quickly you reacted after users started reporting the problem.
However, I wanted to share my concern before updating again. In my case, the issue was quite serious: after the update the plugin generated a fatal error, plugins were deactivated, my site layout was affected, and hundreds of articles started displaying raw shortcodes instead of rendered content.
My site relies heavily on Shortcodes Ultimate, so this wasn’t just a small issue but something that had a significant impact on the website.
Before updating to the latest version, I would like some reassurance that the fix has been thoroughly verified and that the issue has really been resolved. Has version 7.5.3 specifically addressed the fatal error and activation problems related to the previous release?
Thank you again for your quick intervention and support.

In reply to: [Shortcodes Ultimate - Content Elements] Error generated by release 7.5.1I can confirm the issue with Shortcodes Ultimate version 7.5.1.
After updating to version 7.5.1, the plugin generated a fatal error and could no longer be activated. Since my site heavily relies on [su_heading] and other SU shortcodes across hundreds of articles, all shortcode content started appearing as raw text.
My environment:
- WordPress: 6.9.4
- PHP: 8.0.30
- Theme: Hueman
- Shortcodes Ultimate: 7.5.1
As a temporary troubleshooting step, I installed the plugin “WP Rollback” and rolled back Shortcodes Ultimate to version 7.5.0. Unfortunately the issue still persisted initially.
What finally worked in my case was enabling WordPress debugging, after which the plugin activated correctly again and the site recovered.
Since other users seem affected too, I wanted to report my experience and also mention WP Rollback as a possible recovery tool for people locked out after the update.
Please investigate compatibility with recent WordPress environments because sites heavily using SU shortcodes can be severely impacted.
Thanks.

Hi,
I updated to the new version and cleared the cache. The problem seems to be solved. However sometimes it takes 24 hours to see if everything actually works well. Thanks for the assistance.
Good workSolved by disabling all plugins and reactivating them one at a time. Apparently some script was preventing the display. Thanks anyway
