You are an absolute legend. The fix that I found wasn’t specifically what you said above, but was related to the aside. Instead of using a div class I used an aside class in the sidebar.php and removed most of the properties above, from “float” down to “margin” as these can be inherited.
Now the section displays just like the other widgets in all browsers. Thank you very much for your help, esmi and paulwpxp.

In reply to: Posts squashed when viewing website in IEThere was an issue with a stray header tag. I’ve fixed it, but not sure if that’s the cause. I’ll check it out on IE7 tomorrow. Thanks for the help so far!

In reply to: Posts squashed when viewing website in IEUh oh, here’s where I’m going to get lost. I’ve changed some HTML, but not in terms of displaying content (as far as I believe). I have, however, changed the CSS for displaying content. I’ve done this for pages and posts, using the same changes, but pages display OK. Posts don’t.

In reply to: Posts squashed when viewing website in IEIt’s a child theme based on the original Twenty Eleven theme. The original works fine, but the child doesn’t.
The issue is most certainly with the child theme. However, I can’t figure out what it is or why. The single posts just don’t display properly – everything else is fine.
