This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:
•Internet connectivity has been lost.

You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
To view subscribed feeds:
1.Click the Favorites button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view.To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages):

Exploit Scanner did not reveal anything to indicate a problem.
I have now rolled back to CF7 version 2.3.4 and pages load, forms submit and emails sends according to design.
I can also now load the settings page in the WP admin.

I’ve just added Plugin Exploit Scanner version 1.2.1 to scan for any code that might have been injected and causing problems. I will report back once scan is complete.
