In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Maximum site size? Garbage. It doesn’t say that until you go to upload the site again. I didn’t install the plugin so I wouldn’t have seen it there. If it is in the dashboard somewhere it isn’t obvious and probably should be. Fortunately there was a workaround so all was not lost.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Maximum site size? Garbage.@yaniiliev maybe it’s not fair, but it should be more clear that a backed up website may not be restorable with your plugin out-of-the box without paying for the premium extension. Fortunately I was able to find a workaround. Judging by other reviews I’m not the only one who feels this way. Perhaps you should add a warning during backing up and make that more clear.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Conflict with ACF?Hi Nico,
I updated all plugins and WP core and everything seems to be running fine now. Evidently where ever the problem was coming from, it’s been fixed. Thanks for checking into it, though!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] So much flexibility (at times too much)Hey Geoff! Apologies for never getting back to you on this. I’ve actually used the plugin on a few more client sites and I have some answers for you. I think the best way to “slim down” the plugin would be to have the options to easily turn off certain fields. Most of my clients just need to be able to enter the event date/time, title, and sometimes a description. The rest just confuses them (clients want to fillalltheboxes heh) or remains blank. I understand I could probably do this myself with code, but I’m not always the one doing the plugin implementation, so having the front-end options would be so superb.
Also category colors without a separate plugin, but that’s not super important.
Great work again. As some other calendar plugins I use are slowly being abandoned, I keep coming back to this one!

Open link in new tab, featured images, and show excerpts are all checked.FYI my web admin took the widget down so that we wouldn’t have the blank feed on the site, but I just tried it again and it still wasn’t working

In reply to: [Event Organiser] No end date for same day eventI’m not trying to do it outside of the loop though. I want it to be inside of the loop. Ideally I would love to be able to do it with shortcode so it can be added directly to the content.
Thanks! I knew the problem had to be somewhere in there. I disabled prettyphoto and it works great now. 🙂
