I have noticed that the login process will success only when you try to login using ONLY Microsoft accounts such as Hotmail or outlook.com accounts as the login link configured in the plugin is redirecting to https://login.live.com/oauth20_authorize.srf?client_…..
However, If we try to login using any email addresses for domains hosted on Microsoft, we will get the reported error message and from my experience this is due to the fact that the login to personal Microsoft account is different than logging to other organizations where the login link to other organization starts with “https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/authorize?client_id=….” and as you can see that is why it is giving this error.
I have no experience in editing WP plugins so I am kindly requesting you to upgrade the plugin so that it can reflect the correct link when using emails for domains hosted on Microsoft.
I have emailed the same message to the support email address as requested and shall be waiting for a feed back.
