So you want the slider to slide on desktop but not on mobile? You can achieve that with the page builder that you are using. Every page builder has the option to show/hide each block on different devices. So create two sliders one for desktop and one for mobile. Hide the slider for the mobile version from the desktop and do the opposite to the other slider. Turn off the auto-play from the slider for the mobile version.

Apologies for the delay. With due respect to your opinion, I would like to clear about the matter.
Empty category means when there is no product assigned to a category. As you said, you have a category with two out of stock products. Actually, the category is not empty because there are two products that’s why the category is showing in the slider tough you have set it to hide empty categories.
