Thanks so much for the quick fixes and updates. Glad I was able to help find a bug for you and get it fixed for everyone. Have a great rest of your weekend!
-ShayI also added the code to my functions.php file. When I had the default agent selected they are not being the one picked. I wanted one person to get all the tickets so they could assign them out.
Something is still wrong 🙁
@terrilove yes probably.
There is still a saving issue for some reason, when I tested last night it was working.
Any time I save the settings for the default support agent, also check the setting to allow all tickets to be viewed by support agents they keep un checking and defaulting back. Also the setting to tell it which page is the ticket submission and my tickets pages keeps going back to none on both and the settings do not save 🙁
@terrilove I had the newest version update and after adding the patch it worked, just redo it and you are set.
Thanks again Julien, ill leave the 5* now.
That worked! Perfectly!
Thank you thank you thank you! I have been pulling my hair out all day/night today trying to figure it out!
I appreciate the AWESOME SUPPORT for an awesome plugin!
testing now.
Just an update after further testing.
When I make that support agent an admin, he can see all the tickets.
When I make him a support supervisor he can see all the tickets.
when I make him a support manager all tickets disappear and nothing shows (no open, closed or in progress)
when I make him a support agent, still nothing.
Looks like there is a bug or issue with settings being saved as well as the user rolls.
Hope that helps.
Thank you, I was able to get my admin account to see everything again. I found an option that got changed in
Tickets > Settings > and checking the box that says agents can see all..
but when I log out and back in, the setting is unchecked, it wont save the option.
I tried my support agent account and i still cant see anything.
does not let me post it for some reason, tried twice, do you have an email I can send it to?
The 3 showing up on my account (wp admin) are assigned to me. Before I could see all tickets open, closed or pending. How do we fix it so everyone including support agents can see all tickets and reply?
I don;t know, I cant see them. Its like the database or something is disconnected.
I created a new user account, submitted a ticket.
When I log into the admin account for the website I cannot see it, just the old closed ones.
When another admin logs in, they can see it, but I have two users that are support agents that see nothing. They could before then all the sudden it stopped working.
Thanks for the reply,
There is still an issue. When I log into the admin pannel I see 3 closed tickets, when two other support agents log into the system there are 0 tickets, like it is completely empty. Before we could see all the tickets, open or closed, now 3 users see nothing. I created a dummy account and created a ticket, that ticket did not show up (i am an administrator on the site). I cant see it anywhere.
Before I could see all tickets, open, closed, in progress, now I see nothing on some accounts, even if I make them admin.
I just logged in as the support user and it shows 0 tickets. I made him an admin of the whole site and he cant see anything either, still no tickets. On my admin account I can see all the new and old tickets, something is not working. I have 6 support agents and only this one is having issues that I am aware of.
