    Well, I, too prefer to disable “less”. Does anyone know how to do that?

    Hi David,

    Nice to hear you are updating this. Please post here when it’s done and I’ll purchase the Pro ver 🙂

    I sent you an email with the login credentials.
    Were you there? This seems to be behaving slightly differently.

    Upon loading the page,

    1. The magnifier is working for the primary product image.
    2. I no longer see the gallery of images, only one gallery image that is selected in the attributes is shown.
    3. The default is “Choose an option” is not selected.

    And, the primary product image doesn’t work if the attribute is selected for it. Yes – it has an attribute assigned to it. Does that also have to be in the gallery?

    Thank you. I appreciate your fast reply.

    Here is what I did.
    1 – Add primary product image. That is assigned to an attribute.
    2 – Add Gallery Images. Assigned to respective attributes. (Do not add the primary product image to gallery.)

    Ugh – one gallery image says “Image in use by other product, if you wish to use with this product upload another new/same image.
    Image will not be displayed!”
    >>There is _no other product and never has been. This is the first and only one to date.

    I deleted that image from Media Library and re-uploaded it. I still get that message for the image.

    When loading the page, the primary product image has no magnifier.

    When selecting an attribute, the images swap but the gallery images disappear except for the selected attribute image.
    Yes – all gallery images have an attribute assigned to them.
    Sometimes, selecting a new attribute does not swap the image. Perhaps from the “Image in use” problem?

    Sigh. I really want this to work so I can upgrade to your paid version.

    Hum… this does not solve my problem. It is not taking too long to load.
    Does the main product image need to be attached to an attribute?

    Each gallery image does have an attribute chosen. When I select an attribute, all gallery images disappear except for the one I chose. The main product image changes to the attribute image. I see one attribute image that is the one I chose. Nothing else.

    Found where to modify plugin – BUT, you will have to re-modify it when the plugin updates.

    Perhaps the author can confirm this will work and add this feature. It’d be a valuable feature for reminders, marketing & other purposes.

    In wysija-newsletters\controllers\ajax\campaigns.php, around line 768, comment out this… Here, I already added the comments to remove the code.

    /* Allow older posts with newer dates to be included.
    // see if posts have already been sent
    if(!empty($email[‘params’][‘autonl’][‘articles’][‘ids’])) {
    if(!isset($params[‘exclude’])) { $params[‘exclude’] = array(); }
    $params[‘exclude’] = array_unique(array_merge($email[‘params’][‘autonl’][‘articles’][‘ids’], $params[‘exclude’]));
    }
    */
    //we set the post_date to filter articles only older than that one
    // if(isset($email[‘params’][‘autonl’][‘firstSend’])){
    $params[‘post_date’] = $email[‘params’][‘autonl’][‘firstSend’];
    // }

    I can tell that your plugin.took a lot of work and we appreciate it.

    We need this feature, too. Being a programmer, can you tell us where in the code this is done?

    I also noticed that changing the publish date in the post will show the article in the web preview but does _not include the article in the email newsletter.

    I admire your quick response. Kudos.

    The option/attribute selections do not display as I drag-n-drop them in the Product. Sigh.

    You say, “Checkboxes are no good for variations because you need to select one option.” Who are you to decide what our customers prefer? I get tired of programmers thinking they know best for everyone and make it difficult to BRAND something to look unique – they want everyone to look alike. Well, that is not good marketing strategy.

    You probably know what I mean when programs like Word, Excel, browsers, or others want to “help” you by getting in your way and doing it their way, not how you prefer it to be. Like Chrome “helping” you by downloading something to your drive instead of letting you just open it instead of saving it to your computer drive. Or Excel formatting content to the bottom of the cell.

    It is unfortunate that there are people out there (not you) who know nothing about anything so programmers try to “help” them. I say, let “natural selection” take its course and give us the freedom to be creative in a professional way – & not be like everyone else.

    Besides, selection lists are NOT preferred by the end user although they are most used. Read about studies done (focus groups) on website usability. Consumers do _not like them, especially if the lists are long or wide.

    Radios allow complete descriptions about the attribute. Checkboxes, too. And, checkboxes allow you to select more than one adding to the sales revenue. Selections are okay for something short.

    But why hide the price? Again, bad marketing. The consumer will think that you are hiding something and that decreases your credibility.

    Tabs – I leave the first text/content box empty in Product and the tab is still there with garbage repeating what was said and truncating it.
    Why are related products hidden in the second tab? Bad marketing, especially when they are repeated below – bad design and unnecessary page load elements.

    Hide images with CSS? That will hide _all when this is easy for your to program. No image- no display. Simple as that.

    Customers do NOT want garbage images. It adds to transit/download/page load times that can attribute to demoting your website on search engines. Read about SEO. It also clutters the page layout with nonsense images. People want real images – they see that and will not be impressed.

    Contributing? Perhaps some day when I see a benefit. Can I sell plugins? Not on WP plugin site.

    I know I ranted a bit, but you have a nice start on a good program. Let’s start thinking more about the end user, not only the webmaster but also the visitor/consumer. That is how you build success.

    Now, take on the day and make it wonderful 🙂

    Got it. Thanks for clearing up the confusion here.

    WOW! That was an impressively fast answer.

    I need First Data Payment for WooCommerce. Doesn’t this plugin do that?

    Per http://php.net/manual/en/function.exif-imagetype.php
    Note:
    exif_imagetype() will emit an E_NOTICE and return FALSE if it is unable to read enough bytes from the file to determine the image type.

    Are these images large enough?

    Were you saying our php ver is too old? Or, Ivanko123’s ver is too old?
    Our php ver is 5.5.30.

    Doesn’t work with 4.4 – or let’s say it doesn’t work. I can’t say if it is WP ver.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the follow up. Well written programs show nothing. That is a programming error and should be cleaned up. You can use code to determine if the index is defined and if so, continue otherwise skip the step.
    Errors only slow down compilation.

    Thanks for the clarification.

    Ver 2.6.19 should refer to a step between ver 2.6.1 and 2.6.2
    Thus is less than 2.6.7

    I don’t know how you came up with your versioning, but I’m glad all is okay.
