In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Critical Error warning using Avada themeHi Niklas, Thank you for your response. Avada write that I recommend contacting Woocommerce PayPal support to check this issue as the error is referring to the Woocommerce PayPal file.
However, I appreciate your link to the similar support thread. It seems like exactly the same problem that I am experiencing and I have referred Avada support to your response to the similar thread.
Hi Niklas,
I have sent the staging details through the Woocommerce support portal.
Best regards
Tommy
Hi Niklas, thanks for your reply (and to my other thread). Actually, I did disable SG Optimizer (both live and in staging during testing), cleared my CDN and server cache then I updated from V2.0.2 to V2.0.4 before I started this thread. The problem still persisted, so I actually think it is maybe not even a conflict with SG Optimizer. We had to temporarliy abandon Advanced Card Processing due to the instabilty issues (customers were calling us and saying that the card form and PayPal buttons are missing) and we are currently using our back-up Stripe gateway. This is why you will not see Advanced Card Processing on our website right now. Thanks for your time.

In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] V2.0.4 conflict with SG OptimizerOkay, fixed.
Updated to V2.0.4 > Credit card form (Advanced Card Processing) disappeared from checkout page.
Woocommerce > Settings > Payments > Advanced Card Payments > Save (the enabled toggle was already active and I didn’t change any settings.
Credit card form loads correctly on checkout page.
I assume re-saving cleared a cache?
The Pay in 3 messaging is now working. We have not made any changes to our system. We find this payment gateway exceptionally frustrating to use, with frequent issues with new updates and instability issues. Our Stripe gateway has performed flawlessly for years, with literally no input beyond updating to the latest release. The support here is good, but I cannot recommend the gateway.
I am not getting this error when testing the live site:
PAYEE_ACCOUNT_INVALID Payee account specified is invalid. Please check the
payee.email_addressorpayee.merchant_idspecified and try again. Ensure that eitherpayee.merchant_idorpayee.email_addressis specified.Edit: I have fixed this by disconnecting the PayPal account, then reconnecting it via the plugin.
I still can’t get Pay in 3 messaging to work though. VPN disabled.

Thank you for your time Niklas. We were aware that the Pay in 3 option was only valid for UK customers. We can’t find any reason why the buttons would not load this morning during our testing but they do now. We have hidden the unnecessary funding sources as you suggested.
Final question: the Pay in 3 messaging has disappeared, but this feature is activated within settings for Cart and Checkout. Any idea how to resolve this?
Edit: I updated the site from Woocommerce 7.4.1 to 7.5.1 this morning in an attempt to solve the missing buttons, so this maybe the cause of the issue with the Pay in 3 messaging?
Edit 2: 7.4.1 tested on staging and is not the cause.
I believe that this may be an issue with PayPal’s systems. The Pay in 3 messaging has now disappeared. The buttons have been restored to: Pay Now, Pay Later. We have not amended our updated our systems.
