I have the same issue but I’m not sure that we have the same reason why this happens.
I tried to install the plugin on my two wordpress sites in the different server
one is by nginx + fpm, https://demo5.nss.com.tw
and one is by plesk, https://livechat.com.tw/app/
Then I try to add share button by active plugin or inactive plugin and insert html code in wordpress widget both tow sites have blank counter weateher I using different browser ,different IP computer or mobile phone.
But when I insert the html code in my third website(not using wordpress https://www.nss.com.tw), facebook counter works fine.
So do you have any other solution to help us make testing and fix this problem?
