Hi @lfedele,
If your feed isn’t caching, you may need to clear you host cache. We have seen this before, although it is not very common.
Also, you can set the cache time by going to Feed Them > Settings > Global Options and you can set a custom time if you prefer. Just remember that Instagram has rate limits that restrict how many calls can be made per hour. Once we have exceeded these calls, it usually takes an hour, or a few hours (or even 24 hours sometimes) to have our calls restored.
If this is the case, you may need to wait a day or two to do more accurate tests (which could also explain your caching issue).
First, be sure you are running the latest version of the Feed Them Social plugin(s) and that your Instagram account is public.
Second, try clearing the cache. Feed Them > Settings > Global Options > Clear All FTS Feeds Cache
Third, if the above steps didn’t fix the issue, you may need to go into your Instagram account, into your IG Settings > Apps & Websites > Remove FTS by SlickRemix and confirm. Then return to your dashboard and try again to acquire a new access token, then (even if you get an error message) scroll down and click the green ‘Save All Changes’ button. Proceed to the Feed Them > Settings page and generate a new shortcode.
Let me know how it goes,
Hi @amanarana,
Yes.
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Feed Them > Instagram Settings > Show Follow Button > No
Hi @skywingknights,
We are aware of an issue with the Pinterest boards & feeds. We are working hard on a fix at this time.
Update: We have identified the issue affecting Pinterest and we are awaiting their response. We hope to have our Pinterest boards & feeds restored shortly. We will send you another update upon resolution. Again, thank you for your patience and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Hi @kiloj757,
If you would like to have your feed displayed like in the Feed Them Social example, there is an option on that FTS page to copy the shortcode used there, from there just change the names in the example to your social media accounts.
In order to do it from within the settings, in your WordPress dashboard, go to Feed Them > Settings > Combined Streams and fill out the parameters how you want them, choose center feed and, most importantly, at the bottom, under Grid, for Display Posts in Grid, choose yes, then set width to 300px and space between to 7px (if following the example link). Then click the generate shortcode button.
Best regards,
Hi @boriskooij,
It’s possible that another plugin or theme is interfering, however, before we address that, let’s start here:
1. Please clear the Feed Them Social cache. Feed Them > Settings > Global Options > Clear cache (you may need to clear your browser cache also).
2. Deactivate your Feed Them Social plugin, then reactivate the plugin. Make sure you are logged into Facebook and have Admin Privileges to the page. Then, go to Feed Them > Facebook Options and go through the steps to retrieve a new Access Token, scroll down and click the green ‘Save All Changes’ button. Then proceed to the settings page to generate a new shortcode.
3. If the above steps did not fix the issue, then another plugin or theme is interfering. Try deactivating all other plugins besides the Feed Them Social plugins temporarily. Then test to see if it works. If this works, try reactivating your plugins, one by one, to see which one is causing the issue.
If deactivating all plugins doesn’t help the issue try switching themes to one of the default WordPress themes then look at the page (this can be done under the Appearance tab of your install). It’s possible the theme is causing errors.
Let me know how it goes.
We are looking into an issue involving the Pinterest Boards (the Pinterest Feeds are unaffected). We will contact you as soon as we address the issue.
Best regards,
Hi @dosenbier,
Thank you for all the information you have provided. After taking a look at your Facebook Page, all your recent posts that have not shown up are “Event” posts. Unfortunately, Facebook no longer grants developers access to display “Event” posts. We used to have access and have applied to FB to have access granted again, but FB has not reinstated it yet.
Unfortunately, the Facebook Events posts are no longer available. This is due to Facebook’s recent API / Privacy Policy changes and restrictions on what is now publicly available through them. We apologize for any inconvenience and we will let you know if Facebook allows the developers access to the Events posts in any future updates.Best regards,
Hi @dosenbier,
Which version of Feed Them Social are you running?
Hi @dosenbier,
Try clearing the FTS cache, by going to your WP dashboard Feed Them tab > Settings > Global Options > Clear cache
If that doesn’t work to pull new posts, Go to the Business Integrations tab of your Facebook Business account and check the Remove button for SlickRemix. Be sure to remain logged into your Facebook account. Return to your WordPress dashboard, to Feed Them > Facebook Options and click the Facebook button to generate an Access Token. Even if you receive an error message here, scroll down and click the green ‘Save All Changes’ button. Then proceed to the Feed Them > Settings page to generate a shortcode. Once the shortcode is applied, you may also need to clear the FTS cache.
If the above steps didn’t work, try deactivating your Feed Them Social plugin(s) and reactivating them.

Hi @fionalmmurphy,
Try clearing the cache by going to Feed Them tab > Settings > Global Options > Clear cache. You may need to refresh your browser also. Your feed should appear.
Let me know how it goes,
The solution here is to gain a new access token. If you can’t gain a new access token, follow these steps:
Deactivate the Feed Them Social plugins. Refresh your browser. Reactivate the plugins and be sure to be running the latest version. Log into your FB/IG and be sure that the page is public and you have Admin Privileges.
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Feed Them > Facebook Options and click the “Facebook Login and get my Access Token” button. Even if you you see an error message, scroll to the bottom and click the green ‘Save All Changes’ button. Then go to the Feed Them > Settings page and generate a new Access Token.Hi @extinctdisney,
If you go to the Feed Them > Twitter Options you will find width options.
Hi @entreevous,
Thank you for getting back. Could you please edit this post, include the Facebook ID and remove the access token? We do need the Facebook ID in order to test.
Thanks,
