In reply to: [Job Manager] Checkboxes not working for custom job fieldsOk that’s interesting – actually I should just disable that. I don’t know of any case where a Check box feature is even usable when creating a Job Details posting as it’s only used on the back-end anyways. Do you have a valid example – case where this would be used ?

In reply to: [Job Manager] Styling answersStyling is as much a function of your Theme as it is Job Manager.
This would apply to the Job and Application Form Fields. What you can do is copy the JM display.css to your themes style sheet and using a tool like Firefox Firebug style your Application the way you want.
(job-manager/css/display.css)An alternative, if your not css savvy is to use a tool that’s been set-up to work specifically with Job Manager for styling – That’s CSS HERO you can see the info on our support site for Recommended Plugins.
For email styling that’s pretty much predicated by your default email client
as to weather is supports html or plain text. As of now there is no “Pretty” styling for the email data that is sent via JM.Forum: Plugins

Can you be more specific on where you are seeing this so I can try to reproduce this ?

In reply to: [Job Manager] Email Subject line – Job TitleA simple answer to your Question on Subject Line is NO –
It’s a bit more detailed than this and I have an answer that might help you out.
The default Subject Line is “Job Application – First Name Last Name” .
It’s that way because a majority of those hiring want to be able to initially sort and view by Name of the applicant.
Email Clients like Gmail, Outlook etc…now are smart enough that you can sort by Keywords like “Chef” and that should be in the Job “Title” so it would be indexable and searchable by your email client.
However, Job Manager has a built in Category function whereby you can set up categories, in this case based upon Job Title and or Function. In your Case lets say “Chef”
You can then assign all Job Applications that are submitted for Category “Chef” to be a specific email address or person within your company that wants to view ONLY Chef applicants.
This is done by assigning a category – Admin Settings, Category and then adding an email address for that Category of Jobs. Don’t forget to assign the Category to the actual Job Listing too.

In reply to: [Job Manager] Category shortcodeNot true if you take the time to set-up the Ultimate WP Query Search Filter – it will provide the granularity in your search that you need. It does take some time to set-up though.
