Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Some of my navigation links are brokenI removed Trip Reports from being a child of Members Area AND moved it out of the Members Area navigation with no effect.
All was working fine a few days ago. All plugins and themes are up to date.
It’s weird that if you click on Newsletter, the URL is correct, but the site is rendering the blog posts from Trip Reports.
But if you click on Members Area, instead of going to the Members Area page, the website goes to the home page (you can see the URL for the link if you mouse-over the navigation).

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Conflict with woocommerce in AvadaThank you @courane01. The site I discovered the issue on is staged so I’ll take a look at this tonight. Thanks for the followup!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Conflict with woocommerce in AvadaI noticed issues tonight with The Event Calendar plugin with WooCommerce Membership plugin. When The Event Calendar is activated, it’s displaying content within my Membership admin area that is hidden behind the left column of my membership sub-navigation. I’m unable to access any of this though since the css for the admin area seems to be broken when the plugin is enabled.
I have screenshots but can’t seem to upload them here in the forums.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] function.json-encodeOk, this is getting tricky to test. Today I went through each of the admin pages and made note of each page that would display this error at the bottom. Now I just pulled up those admin pages and only found the error at the bottom of one of those pages.
Settings > Media
I refreshed the page and the error did not display at the bottom of the page. With that being said, even by disabling the plugins one by one, I won’t be able to see which plugin has any effect since this error does not display consistently on any one page.
Perhaps it has something to do with something not loading fast enough, or properly, from the server?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] function.json-encodeThis may take me a while to do because my client is currently directing traffic to their website to collect donations and memberships. It may be a few days before I can login late at night and try to disable plugins.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] function.json-encodeYes, this only appears on the iThemes security settings page. I’m constantly getting emailed regarding Site Lockout Notifications for my username. But when I go to the site, I’m able to log in fine. I can’t for the life of me find where to release lockouts.
I’m wondering if there is incompatibility with iThemes Security and Jetpack.

In reply to: Membership Renewal via Gravity FormsI still have not found a streamlined solution. My thoughts are that I will need to create a new form where the enter their forum username and account details, then have someone manually match these form submissions against the list of current users. After a set amount of time, and sending reminders to those who do not renew, someone will need to login to the admin side and change their forum settings so they can no longer post. A manual process. I can’t think of any other way.

In reply to: Can Not Install WP Locally with MAMPThank you Tara! I think I was thinking too much. I have all of the new sites up and running now.
I don’t think this is a theme/plugin issue as I’ve just experienced the same issue with the Events Manager Pro trial website.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce cart total displaying incorrectlyI’m having the same issue with this theme. I can add padding to the .amount class in CSS which moves the number of items over. But I also noticed that the quotes surrounding the item quantity are not displaying, but I see them in the source.
From a usability standpoint, just having a number hanging out there doesn’t tell the user what that number is. I’m still trying to find a solution to this. Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Issue with Flat Rate Shipping CalculationsThanks for the tip on that extension. I may need to pick that up to manage the shipping costs better.

In reply to: [GamePress] [Theme: GamePress] Sub pages do not work in menu@alex27 Yes, seems to be working fone now. I’m thinking it may have been a cache/browser issue.

In reply to: [GamePress] [Theme: GamePress] Sub pages do not work in menu@concity Yes, that’s where I downloaded the files from. I copied the files to the server, selected a different theme, then re-selected the GamePress theme. The sub-pages are not working.
