In reply to: [Caldera Forms - More Than Contact Forms] Conflict with WordPress version 5.6In response to @andyward75, in response to this bit:
‘NONE of the forms display the Entries. Just a constant grey circle with a cycling white dot to entertain you whilst you wait…’
I get this situation on 2 of my websites. There is the grey cycling circle on the display entries page. But to the right of this grey circle is a number (referring to the number of entries that should be displaying on the page) next to an up and down arrow. In my case, if I click once on the down arrow and once on the up arrow, the entries mysteriously appear. This situation only pertains to 2 of my websites. On all of the others, entries display without fault or delay.
Not experiencing the problem with the save and preview buttons that has been reported.
With thanks to Caldera (new Caldera?) team for updating the plugin.

In reply to: [Caldera Forms - More Than Contact Forms] Unable to submit formHere’s what’s happening in our case. It would seem that the problem is to do with an out-dated theme that we are using on one of our websites. It is not necessarily a problem with the Caldera plugin. Our theme has not been updated for quite a while and it has become unable to process the form correctly – in the way that others have described. We have created a new instance of the website content with the Caldera plugin, governed by a much more recently updated wordpress theme, and now find that the forms are working exactly as they should. I think this proves that it’s not necessarily the plugin that is malfunctioning, but some kind of mismatch in the environment in which it is operating. A wordpress website looks like (ie, is meant to look like) a cohesive, stylish, attractive framework for the user. It may do so on the surface, but the dozens of scraps of code from which it is made can eventually clash and grind together as harmoniously as brash ice on a frozen sea. Plugins can take a dislike to each other, but themes also can develop indigestion if not updated. So I would advise anyone else who is experiencing the Caldera problem to take a look at the last time their theme was updated. Or consider a website rebuild with a new one.
