Thanks @monkeywisdom for the feedback. The first two are things we can definitely address and I’ll see what/when we can make those enhancements/updates. On the third one, we’re limited by the services we’re sharing to and most do not give a “confirmation” if a share actually went through or not. We would happily make it so the analytics only count completed shares, but it’s not possible currently.

When you saved using the WYSIWYG editor, did you get the confirmation “Settings saved.” at the top of the screen? And out of curiosity, what browser and what version of WP are you on? Thanks.

@joelgoodman – what type of theme are you using? On your 404 page, there’s a JS error that I think is causing the Share layer not to show up.
@jghes – do you have a link to your site we could look at? And same question as above, what theme are you using?

In reply to: [Smart Layers by AddThis] Does not save the options@fbreve – I don’t see the AddThis code being inserted on your homepage, but I do see the Smart Layers code on other pages when I navigate through your site. And I do see the customizations you mentioned like adding Follow and translating “Recommended for you”. There might be something preventing the Smart Layers code from being inserted on the homepage if you’re using a custom homepage. Could you try disabling the Welcome Bar and see if Smart Layer works – I’m wondering if there is a conflict between the two.

And I assume you’ve tried saving from the WYSIWYG editor and the Custom API Configuration editor, right? And if possible, can you use your browser’s dev tools to see if there are any errors being written to the console?

In reply to: [Smart Layers by AddThis] Not showing at allSorry for the problems you’re encountering, but could you please go to the AddThis Smart Layers setting page and try disabling and re-enabling the layers. The code being inserted into the page is invalid and I’m hoping by disabling and re-enabling the layers, it should fix the problem. Please let me know if you still have problems after trying this.

Can you try going to the AddThis Smart Layers settings and disable all the layers and try re-enabling them? It looks like the code being inserted is invalid which is causing errors. Hopefully, disabling and re-enabling will fix the problem.

I have tried and was able to verify that bit.ly shortening is working with Smart Layers, but it would help if I could see your actual code to troubleshoot.
