In reply to: I’m on 1.5 and want to keep content**After getting a bunch of errors after deleting the WP-admin folder and other stuff, I’ve uploaded my whole blog as it existed three minutes before I started the upgrade and am ready to try again.
Can anyone help me upgrade so my blog stays the same and I get the functionality of 2.02?
Thanks,
Jeff

In reply to: How to center “Off The Wall”-Theme (Kubrick based)YIKES. OK. So you’re saying I should just save the jpg to my desktop, open it in Photoshop and add in the copy I want, then upload it back to the Theme?
If that’s right, that’s great and easier than I thought.
Thanks,
Jeff

In reply to: How to center “Off The Wall”-Theme (Kubrick based)***I have tried to contact the author to no avail.
I think it’s as simple as figuring out where the Blog Name field points – but I can’t resolve that in my tiny brain.
Thanks,
Jeff

In reply to: How to center “Off The Wall”-Theme (Kubrick based)I’ve got the same theme going – http://www.jeffcutler.com/jblog – and I’m wondering how to change the OFF-THE-WALL title at the top center of the page.
I’m WAY new and just want to replace the name with my blog’s name – ideas2words – can you help?
Thanks,

In reply to: Where does a tiny piece of code go?OK. I’ve been trying to add that tiny piece of code
<?php counterize_add(); ?>
to my files, AND I found the *Powered by and *Template by info, but nothing seems to work.
I even moved the code around my index file and it didn’t work.
Yes, I refreshed it and it didn’t work either.
Thanks in advance.

“BRILLIANT”
Thanks. Must have already been a long day for me that I didn’t think of that.

In reply to: What goes in the Database field???I went to my Control Panel on my site and it told me the path to my blog was:
/home/jeff/jeffcutler-www/jblog.html
So I put all that into the config text and it’s still giving me this message (even after re-uploading that file and refreshing) *My name and password are correct….what’s the deal with changing the local host name?
Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running? Finally, here’s what my index of stuff on my site looks like, am I just putting too much info on the config.php form?
jblog.html [Delete] [Rename] [Password
OR the path to that….
Current Directory:/home/jeff/jeffcutler-www/jblog.html
Thanks,
Jeff
