I have tried disabling Litespeed Cache but that didn’t seem to work so I checked the theme files for additional JQuery installations but couldn’t find any.
Are there any other possible reasons this could be occurring?

Yes I am using the free version.
We have no caching system at all on the site. The search results are still showing products that have the search term in the description. This setting isn’t on so I don’t know why it is doing this at all.
