I would say no. I just tried this plugin and I ended up with a “553 5.7.1 Sender address rejected: not owned by user [email protected]” error. I went through support with my hosting provider, brinkster.com, and they even said all of my credentials were right and that it might be the plugin. However, I was able to send a successful email using this plugin, so I recommend trying this one instead :

Also, this page is useful for demystifying SMTP errors if it helps anyone. I was fooled by the relaying error, it meant that I needed to enable email authentication.
