I have fixed the problem.
The site was tested with version control with github, disabling the automatic background updates…
by removing the version control the site started updating directly.
i got the logs enabled but they don’t give any message, not even when i do force update.
It looks like when it tries to update it crashes, but i cant find where sinds i don’t get any errors.
The plugin also doesn’t send any notification email about updates.
Already tried reinstalling it or disabling other plugins to check if that is the problem but that didn’t help
