 * Cool – thanks Joe. Will submit a request. Yes, we’re on 3.3.2. Will it be mandatory
   to drop the tables for the fresh install? If so, I see 3 “my_calendar” tables.
   Would that be it?
 * Thanks,
    Josh

 * Thanks for the quick response Joe. I got the “Update Now” button and clicked
   it. After it ran the message remains, and I still can’t add events.
 * I don’t have any legacy info in My Calendar, so maybe I should try a clean install?
   If I remove the plugin will it clean up the db and allow a clean install?
 * Also, I’ve been holding out on upgrading to WP 3.4 due to some of my other plugins–
   do you think this could be part of the issue?
 * Thanks,
    Josh

 * Another update – I checked out the Behavior tab and it’s saying that my current
   installed scripts are different than the new ones. Wouldn’t these have updated
   when I ran the automatic update?
 * Either way, I checked the boxes to update these and I still can’t add Events
   or Locations.
 * Not trying to nag – just trying to give you as much info as possible.
 * Thanks,
    Josh

 * to be more specific, here are the messages I’m receiving:
 *     ```
       Error: I'm sorry! I couldn't add that event to the database.

       You haven't entered any events, so My Calendar can't tell whether your database is up to date. If you can't add events, upgrade your database!
       ```
 * Not sure what it means by upgrading my database….?
 * JAN! You’re AMAZING! Here’s the most bizarre thing – it only works ONCE. If I
   upload it, then make my changes to it, it dies. Yet if I make my changes to it
   BEFORE the initial upload, it works and accepts my changes.
 * A bit freaky! But it’ll do for now. THANKS A MILLION!
 * Thanks – just tried that, too. I only get the parent theme as an option. I do
   appreciate the confirmation that I’m not losing it entirely!
 * Funny – I just emailed the developer the same question, then thought -d amn I
   better look in the forums first to see if it’s already been answered! Would love
   to be able to choose the access to have set by default as well.
 * Chris – that was it – I was testing out a number of plugs at once and once I
   deactivated them this one performed perfectly.
 * Thanks!
 * Hi Chris – I’m using the latest version of both: WP 3.3 and the Event Espresso
   found on the WordPress site.
