Sorting tasks feature is available in latest version (2.0.1). Please update plugin with latest version. You can sort task list by name, project, status, priority, start date and end date.

Please verify below steps for troubleshooting the issue:
1.You have entered From Name & From Email in the email notification settings of the plugin.
2.You have installed any SMTP plugin to send emails from website.
3.Please note, if you have not installed SMTP plugin to send emails, mail() function does not guaranty you to deliver emails. There are many popular free SMTP plugins available on ww.wp.xz.cn. We recommend Post SMTP Mailer plugin.
4.Try sending test emails in SMTP plugin to confirm emails are sending correctly.
5.Taskbuilder email notification recipients correctly set for all notifications.Hello,

Please clear your site cache and browser cache and then recheck the issue.
Also, check for a plugin conflict. It may conflict with some other plugin or theme. You can troubleshoot this yourself by disabling all plugins and activating them one by one. This way you will find the plugin causing the conflict. The same applies to the theme, if you didn’t find conflict with any plugin, try changing the theme and if the issue is gone, it is a conflict with your theme. Please note, the theme should not be changed directly on the live server, sometimes you may lose settings.
If that does not resolve the issue please create a ticket on our support page.
