In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Customize not workingThis should actually be a new thread. Once the OP lists it as “resolved” you’re not going to get much action.
The theme has limited capabilities. This so it can be used (free) and so that the developers have a pathway to be compensated for their hard work (upgrade). For some, the basic feature set is enough. If that’s not you AND you love the theme AND it fits your needs, buy it.
As for the background image, I was told 1920×1280 but that isn’t what’s listed in the White Paper for the theme. There’s also a snippet of code that can be inserted using a custom CSS plugin. Search this forum and you’ll find it.

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Customize not workingWow, I wonder what the file structure looks like in your install.
Have you considered manually moving the theme files to your server via ftp?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Customize not workingSorry to reply with an equally rudimentary comment …
How did you execute the theme install?
Was it through the WP dashboard?
Has the Zerif-lite theme been activated? In the left menu of the WP dashboard, what do you see in APPEARANCE/Themes?

Click the APPLY bottom at the bottom of the widget when finished.
Click the SAVE & PUBLISH button at the top of the frame.
Verify the content in a new browser window (assuming your site is in production and not dev).Once you’ve done this you’ll want to go back and delete the demo stuff you’ve mentioned.

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Make header – menu space bigger in Zerif Lite ThemeNow three of us …
And how can the thread be marked as “Resolved” when there’s no actual resolution posted????
Note the listed js above is ONLY for knob1 which is the first of the four circles (knobs). You will need to push the hex color parameter to the other knobs (2, 3, 4) as well if you want the background consistent on all of them.
As a relatively new user it would be infinitely helpful if CSS solutions could have a more specific direction set. As an example I’d think the file reference would be a good start along with the section of the document where the additional code should be placed.
That’s just my two cents as a user – not a developer. The existing gap between the two is already large enough.
My issues with the TEAM and TESTIMONIALS seems to trace to the plugin
W3 Total Cache. Once deactivated the mobile site appears as expected.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Nothing worksNot to critique but surely you can’t expect much support from a “nothing works” posting. You’d think someone demanding functionality from a theme would post a functional post so that the community where THEY have chosen to post might offer some tangible support.
How about some specifics on your configuration, your issues, and your url?
