    Hi @onemooresam,

Unfortunately, when I can’t reproduce the behavior, it makes it more difficult for me to help other than simply suggesting things for you to try.

How about creating another menu item to a meeting page (use the custom link option) so the meeting page is just that, and nothing else. See if that clears up the problem?

Also, I’m seeing some 404 errors when I look at your site using the Javascript console. Two are related to your theme, and one is TSML & Mapbox GL (which I think can be ignored).

Hmmm. This behavior doesn’t happen with my dev site.

How did you create your meeting list page? I note the tab says “Archive – ” and I’m curious if you created a custom menu or used the Post Type Archive from the menu create feature?

If that doesn’t make sense, let’s move the discussion to the dev site where we can use screen caps.

I am not sure I’m going to be of much use. I suspect your theme has a maximum length of what is shown in a page. Perhaps ask your theme provider if they have a way to extend that, or create a page 2?

If not, please head over to our dev site and submit a request there. I’ll ask you to provide a csv of your database, and then I can load it in my dev site and try some other themes. Or, if you have a dev site you can do the same thing. Frankly, I’ve not worked with a database that appears to be as large as your listing.

    Let me know…

    Hi–

Something like this was discussed before relating to online meetings or other links. We don’t allow these because they cannot be imported into Meeting Guide (mobile app security).

The best solution currently is going to be a comment asking people to copy and paste the link in a new browser tab.

Did you try importing the csv? If I’m understanding your issue correctly, you were almost there. CSV export/import was designed exactly for this purpose. You should be able to take the file you exported from aa-quebec.org and import it into your aaregion88.org site.

    That isn’t working?

Not off the top of my head, but my earlier question remains germane. Are the notes showing up on the backend but not the front end? Or are the notes in question not showing up on the backend (i.e, an import issue).

If you have them on the backend (i.e., the admin meeting edit page) but not on the front end, and it isn’t that way for all meetings, then my guess is something is set different about the meeting (i.e., a group?) or something strange has been imported as part of the text. Please try to determine what is different, and we can go from there.

What group id box? Where are you seeing this?

    Hi @kellyharley,

In my dev site, I notes that export and import as expected.

Do you see the notes on the backend when editing the meeting after you’ve imported?

If not, check the csv for unexpected quotes in that field, especially the type Microsoft Excel uses at times. I don’t recall what they’re called, but you can find this discussed elsewhere in these threads (or search the Internet).

And check the headers of your csv file to make sure they match the names used in the sample template.csv.

If they are showing in the backend, but not on the front end, you’ll want to look at changes you’ve made to the website/styling/theme/etc.

Please let me know if any of this helps.

    Hi @in2itivedigital,

I’m not sure of the source of your difficulties with the URL or online meeting type, but I just tested both again with the current release and they worked as expected.

Use the template.csv (provided on the import & settings page) as a guide for naming your fields.

Please let me know if this solves your issue.

    Hi Viv–

I don’t claim to be a CSS expert, but I’m not aware of any filtering capability. Basically, CSS just applies a style to data provided by Javascript or PHP. So, the answer to your question is really “no”.

But, you could change the CSS to make the meetings invisible, or be struck out, or changed in color, shaded, etc.

    Hopefully that explains it better.

I think you’d be limited to have it blank out, or otherwise be marked with a color/font.

As an update (and then I’m closing this since it is being tracked on our dev side), we’ve run into some troubles and haven’t gotten this feature successfully tested yet. But, we’re continuing to work it.

    In short, no.

Longer answer: This has been discussed in other threads here (and in TIAA Forums). Meeting Guide is to remain GSO’s solution for in-person meetings, and TSML the popular WordPress tool for managing meetings to feed into Meeting Guide. Adding the online option was agreed to because of the pandemic, but meetings will continue to require a valid address (some areas are using a post office, central/intergroup office, etc). You might try experimenting with the address correction FAQ entry to override addresses.

If the meeting you’re adding is for a location that is temporarily closed, I suggest using that address and marking the meeting as location temporarily closed. If the meeting you’re adding is expected to remain online only (and isn’t temporary) then I suggest contacting the Online Intergroup for tracking.

A digital basket is a new feature that we need to work on and improve. This is already being tracked.

But are you saying that if you look at the single meeting page the digital basket doesn’t show up?

    Hi Viv–

This idea has been bounced around but hasn’t got a lot of traction. The two best solutions today are to create a custom type (which won’t go into Meeting Guide) or to just use the notes.

I’ll save you from having to read my brilliant opinions 😛 about meeting types but suffice to say I’m hoping to move TC out of the meeting types and into some sort of status or closure field. It may be possible to add something like “Outside” as the alternate meeting location at that time, but so far we’ve got higher priorities, which I’m hoping to get back focusing on later this week.

If you feel strongly about this, I suggest coming over the dev site and opening a new feature request.
