PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

It was a memory problem.
Simply increase the php.ini memory allocation. It is set at 8MB by default. I upped mine to 32MB and I was up and running.
Everything works perfectly.

I am having the same problem exactly. Have you had any luck solving it? I’ve done clean installs of everything and still no change.
