In reply to: [Rich Reviews by Starfish] Issues with 1.8.2Hi @cenay I marked it closed because we did address this issue in 1.8.2 and received no further replies from @r0bly0ns to know if they got it resolved.
Can you try the each of the following, going to the next one if the previous didn’t resolve the issue:
- Update to 1.8.2 again and see if you’re still having the issue?
- Check your database in the
wp_optionstable for an entry calledrr_optionsentry? If it’s there, delete it. 1.8.2 is supposed to delete this when the update occurs. But it seems like it’s not happening on some hosting. - Disable Rich Reviews, clear your browser cache, your hosting cache, and any caching from plugins on the site. Re-activate the plugin and check again.

In reply to: [Rich Reviews by Starfish] Issues with 1.8.2@r0bly0ns this was an issue in 1.8. Can you try 1. deactivate Rich Reviews, 2. clear your browser cache, any caching plugins, and any server caching, then 3. Reactivate Rich Reviews.

In reply to: [Rich Reviews by Starfish] Page hangs when displaying reviewsNote to anyone experiencing this: @samweldon figured out that clearing his browser cache resolved the issue. So anyone still experiencing this after the 1.8.2 update, please try clearing your browser’s cache. It must be caching something from the old version that’s causing this.

If you’d like to provide a French translation, we’d be happy to include it in the next version.

This could be very helpful to display the changelog on our website. We have users asking for this all the time. So adding ability to display the changelog and some other stuff would be really helpful too.

In reply to: [Rich Reviews by Starfish] SECURITY NOTICE: update to secure version 1.8.1@davidspeyer it seems it was anytime the shortcode was loading more than 14 reviews. But Matt fixed it in 1.8.2. So update and you should be good to go.

I just have to say: I haven’t used my Lifetime license for all the Brainstorm Force products (Astra Pro, Convert Pro, etc) all that much so far. But I’m really glad I bought it to support such a great company. I found this awesome plugin about 2 weeks ago. Then just yesterday I went looking for a plugin to display plugin info from WP.org plugins and found this awesome plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-themes-plugins-stats/ and who created it? You all!
It seems like it’s new as well. So we must be on the same wavelength or something: you keep building the plugins I need, right before I think of them.

In reply to: [Rich Reviews by Starfish] New version 1.8 problems@clemenspoppe have you updated to 1.8.1? That update is supposed to delete the rr_options entry from wp_options table in the database. That should fix the permissions issue.
