    Thanks for pointing this out. I’ll take a look at things in Opera, for good measure.

    Hello,

    No, I apologize the plugin does not have any feature for this. You could probably accomplish this with CSS from your theme. You could possibly style the image to have a smaller width and then float it to the left.

    Hmm, I’m not quite sure on that one. The 500 error generally means some sort of Internal Server Error on Twitter’s end.

    Is it possible this was just an issue you were having at a certain time? How long in between attempts have you tried to troubleshoot this?

    Hello Guys,

    As it looks like you guys have figured out essentially, from looking at the Twitter API error handling, we can surmise that essentially when you get error 400, it means there is some specific issue with the authentication (i.e. “App”) you’re trying to use to commicate with Twitter API.

    https://dev.twitter.com/docs/error-codes-responses

    Do you know if there is any way around this as I would like to have both plugins play happily together. Is the problem because Twitter won’t allow 2 Apps to run side-by-side on the site?

    @lynn

    I’ve found the conflict and I’ve let the author know.

    http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/conflict-with-thmoauth-class

    I have deactivated the WP to Twitter plugin but my site still shows the Error code 400. So maybe this is an issue with the plugin. I hope the author solves this problem.

    @loythegreat

    I’ve got Tweeple running on about 10 live sites, and I can’t reproduce any similar issue. Seeing as you’re getting the specific 400 error, I would say it most likely also points to something off about your API authentication credentials.

    Are you sure you’re putting in the correct Authentication settings?

    Possibly there’s something about your Twitter app that has been flagged or blocked for some reason? Have you tried creating a new Twitter app in your Twitter Developer account? And setting up new access tokens?

    Or possibly something wrong with your Twitter account that has maybe been flagged for some reason? Have you tried creating an App and access tokens from another Twitter account?

    Note: Feel free to play around and troubleshoot with this aspect because the Twitter account you connect through for Tweeple realistically is irrelevant.

    I’m going to do a mass update of all the major Theme Blvd plugins, Jump Start, and ThemeForest themes, all at the same time. I’m working hard for this to happen shortly after WP releases 3.6, trying to get it all to happen at about the same time. I’m mainly working on updating documentation and videos now, and creating a live website that holds all of this.

    The Sliders 1.1 update will fix your issue with the Slider height, but if you’re having any issue now, it’s probably just a simple CSS issue with whatever theme you’re using and the specific context of the slider.

    Hello,

    I started a Wiki for customizations, but haven’t had a chance to really get to finishing it. But there is really a lot you can do here.

    https://github.com/themeblvd/Tweeple/wiki

    In the default template function for displaying Tweets, the part that displays the “meta” info below each Tweet is a hooked function that you can modify, and I actually a function in the plugin that displays a little more info, not being used, that you can hook in.

    So, from your own plugin file or theme’s functions.php, you can utilize this already existing function like this:

    remove_action( 'tweeple_tweet_meta', 'tweeple_tweet_meta_default' );
    add_action( 'tweeple_tweet_meta', 'tweeple_tweet_meta_fancy' );

    Hello,

    Here’s a bit about how image sizes work within the framework and you can modify them:

    http://dev.themeblvd.com/tutorial/crop-sizes/

    Basically, the plugin uses the theme’s “slider-large” crop size for full size images. This plugin will also allow you to change these image sizes, as well.

    And note in the upcoming Slider plugin 1.1, I’ve added an option to choose custom crop sizes for images in your slider. I think this will be a huge feature because so many people ask about the crop sizes of the slider, as you are now.

    If you need any further help with this, please post in our support forum:

    @woodsandhillsplc Did you ever find a solution to this?

    Plugin Author Jason

    (@themeblvd)

    @jan Thanks for that, Jan.

    @letheos Yes, you are absolutely correct and I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

    We list the plugins here in the ww.wp.xz.cn repository so they are very easily available and manageable to our customers from the most reliable source in the community, ww.wp.xz.cn. This is part of a very large, growing library of completely free plugins that extend functionality already present in our themes, which are paid themes.

    Plugin Author Jason

    (@themeblvd)

    What is not serious with you is that you offer this non-free plugin to promote your paid themes, it’s not fair while all your themes automatically come with free shortcodes and free lifetime updates.

    This actually isn’t the case, and I honestly find it a little offensive. I’ll explain.

    For the last year I’ve been working to re-vamp my framework, which started with the release of Jump Start. This has all been part of a long journey to get all plugin functionality removed from themes, which I have worked harder on than you could imagine. And when WordPress 3.6 drops, these changes will be reflected through all ThemeForest themes using this framework, as they get updated to the latest version to match Jump Start.

    I’m not looking to up sell people on plugins and extensions, but instead, sell the themes and offer all the plugins for free. After the next round of theme updates, all ThemeForest and Mojo Themes customers using my themes will be required to use this plugin if they want any of the shortcodes.

    So, why do I put the plugins on ww.wp.xz.cn? — Because they contain full GPL code, I don’t want to charge for them, and most importantly, ww.wp.xz.cn provides the means to host them and provide hassle-free updates for my customers, from the most reliable source in the community.

    I’m not trying to deceive you or anyone else. I’m trying to make things as easy for my customers as possible. When they install a theme, I want them to be able to very easily access all of the plugins and maintain them.

    So, if you want me to give you a 5-star rating, you have to offer this plugin with some minimal options and people who need more options will pay the Pro-Version.

    You are, of course, free to rate however you want. If you’d like to lash out against the plugin simply out of principle, without ever actually using it, you’re completely free to do that. I just want to make sure it is clear to everyone where it is coming from.

    Hello,

    I apologize, but there’s no feature for this in the Sliders plugin. The idea is that you’re arranging them in the order you want to display them in the Slider manager, and then saving that as an array of slides to the database. Then, the plugin just loops through and displays them based on this array.

    In other words, there’s no “query” of slides to re-arrange when the slider displays like maybe you would be doing if you were pulling blog posts to display or something similar to that.
