In reply to: [Event Calendar by Timely] I’m confused: why are there two plugins?Hello @aprildmoore
Thank you for the message! Yes, that could definitely be the issue — especially if the client didn’t follow the correct order of steps.
When switching to the new Event Calendar by Timely plugin, it’s important to first deactivate the All-in-One Event Calendar plugin, and then activate the new one.
You don’t need to delete the All-in-One plugin immediately — just make sure it’s deactivated to avoid conflicts. Once you’ve confirmed that the new plugin is working as expected, you can safely delete it.

In reply to: [Event Calendar by Timely] I’m confused: why are there two plugins?Hello Simone,
Thanks for your message. We can see you’re already receiving support through our official channels, but I’d like to clarify your question about the new plugin.
The Event Calendar by Timely is our latest WordPress plugin, built to work seamlessly with Timely’s cloud-based platform. It replaces the older All-in-One Event Calendar (AI1EC) plugin and offers improved performance, compatibility, and ongoing support.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] no longer offering free version?Hi @purpledog,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We kindly inform you that our platform offers an outstanding free version.
Due to security measures, we maintain a policy of removing accounts that have remained inactive, signifying that you haven’t logged into your account for over 120 days. Before initiating the account removal, we notify the calendar owner via email within 90 days of inactivity, requesting him to log in to the app to prevent this action.
This was the case with the calendar from your page.
To better assist you next time, please fill out the following form here, and we will review your request quickly.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] WHAT???????????Hi @wshosted.
If you have our plugin installed in your site, and has set up auto updates, you do not need to worry at all. The only thing that will change for you in the new plugin version 3.0.0 is the updated PHP version 7.2.
The new event management platform is just for new plugin installs, which you can opt in. However, if you do so, we just ask you to contact us so we can help you migrate your events with ease. You can always stay with your current calendar management platform.
Best,
