If you haven’t found the solution yet. Here is it.
Go to the dashboard->appearance->menu choose the menu where you have the language switch menu. Click on the down-arrow at it. Put in this code in URL box.
#qtransLangSw?title=none¤t=hidden&names=hidden
It will give you only the flag and no names.
