Okay this does seem to work for the gallery and the thumbs view. I did’nt realise that the fancy/lightbox is a js script so the only page I had to edit was gallery.php

The only problem I have still left is that $image->alttext allways returns the filename when alttext is empty. I want this to be empty when the filename is empty and it used to be in the original gallery with exactely the same code. Does anybody have an idea about what is going on?

Thank you it is solved indeed. Maybe this is the wrong thread to ask, but is there a way to trunicate all data in nextgengallery so that the ID’s of all my galleries, photo’s and albums start at 1 again?
