Thanks once again for your reply.This would be quite an important feature for me so I would be happy to pay a fair price for it. I can search for a developer on a freelance platform like Upwork etc. However as this is your plugin and you already know it inside out, it makes sense to ask you first.
If you deliver it as a once off amendment to the plugin for instance via Upwork then you don’t need to make any changes to the plugin as it exists on ww.wp.xz.cn, and you don’t need to make any ongoing commitment to support the YouTube API or any other service.
In the future, if I do need any further changes, I can always ask you first, and if you are not available, I can then ask other developers on Upwork etc.Might this work for you?

Did you set a featured image for your popular posts?
Did you add an image to your popular posts?
Did you attach an image to your popular posts?I don’t do any of these things. I simply insert the video link into each post. I was hoping that WPP would recognise that each post is a video and automatically grab and display the thumbnail like WordPress does on the first page.
Do you take feature requests?
