Allow us to clarify the current functionality of WP Dark Mode features:
Upon enabling the “Make Dark Mode Default”, all pages will initially appear in dark mode as per its “Dark Mode Default” feature behavior.
If you disable the “Make Dark Mode Default” feature, “Remember Dark Mode” will follow your preference. If you choose light mode and go to a new page, it stays in light mode. If you switch to dark mode and navigate to another page, it stays in dark mode. Your last preference will be remembered.

If you enable “Default Dark Mode” Upon entering the website, the dark mode will be initially visible.
However, it will remain active only until you manually enable or disable it by clicking the dark mode switch. Our dark mode switch respects the user’s preference as the highest priority. If you choose to enable dark mode once using the dark mode switch, it will persist across all pages until turn it off.
