Unfortunately, it’s not just a matter of changing a message or two. To grasp the scale of the disaster, here are some of my favorites — in addition to translating “all time” (as in a time period) as “unprecedented”:
- “page slug” translated as “snail” (slimy garden creature)
- “[Live]” (in api mode) translated as “[Concert]”
- “text” (in color customization) translated as “SMS”
And overall, there are hundreds of messages that are incorrect, awkward, or completely out of place.
I’ve significantly reworked the translation and reviewed how everything looks in the admin panel (features that are visible in a free version) and the affiliate dashboard — something the previous translators clearly didn’t bother to do. I can send my translation as a ZIP file downloaded from Loco Translate, but I do not know how to send/attach it.
Well, I downloaded Loco and fixed this and many other errors/inconsistencies in the translation. How can I share my changes (if you need them?)
